Welcome to the Clyde History website

Located on the edge of suburbia, housing developments could soon change forever this small country town. Land that has supported dairy farms, market gardens and beef cattle gave life to many groups of people who claimed Clyde as their home town
.
Two meteorites have been discovered here, a founding member of the Royal Melbourne Show lived in Clyde and once our dairy farmers produced the most milk for transport from any railway station in the area.

Before there is no one left who knows Clyde's past we are building this website in appreciation for all that we have learnt by growing up in a country town.

Clyde - this website is for you!
