Wesleyan Methodist Church
Clyde North


A church built with home made bricks and roofed with slate. William Sykes and Embling Hardy were founding member.

Clyde North Hall
and Free Public Library

Wesleyan Methodist School
Clyde North


It seems that this was a part time day school which operated for a few years.
The school used the church facilities

St Pauls Anglican Church
Clyde North

The first church builing was erected on land donated by Anthony Ridgway in 1860's


1928
Clyde Public Hall
and Mechanics Institute

Built on land donated by Mr A Wenn.


 

 


1909
Clyde Methodist Church

The first public building in Clyde was erected onland bought from Mrs M Stewart


1910
Clyde Primary School, #3664.

Land was purchased from Mr Thomas "Corrie" Ridgway for this school.

Lisbaun School #4196

A cottage on the property of Mr C McCormick became a small school.
1996
Hillcrest Christian School
Ayr Hill Campus

500 Soldiers Road, Clyde North
Non-denominational indepedant Christian College (primary & secondary).
Their first campus opened at Nyora in 1978.
